Children’s Health

Together we can ensure that every child has access to quality care.

On one hand, we have cause to celebrate. Global annual infant deaths have been cut in half between 1990 and 2017. At the same time, we see massive opportunity for improvement. Every year more than 1.4 million children under five die of preventable environmental hazards like air pollution, hazardous chemicals, inadequate water, sanitation and hygiene. Nearly 100,000 kids under 15 die of cancer even though the vast majority of childhood cancers are potentially curable with existing treatments.
